Artist Allison Lefcort shares:

This piece came about in a very special way.

Having established my love and support for Melissa and Etheridge Foundation on the last ME cruise, I was chomping at the bit to participate in some way in the future.

Last fall, I was fortunate enough to see Melissa's Off-Broadway performance and, of course, was blown away at her artistry as a musician and storyteller.  When the news of a BROADWAY run hit me, I knew I wanted and needed to be involved.

I worked collaboratively with all the people at Park West Gallery and Etheridge Foundation, including Melissa herself, who actually chose the image that I painted for this event/show.

Throughout my professional career, giving back to my community has been of utmost importance.  The efforts and mission of Etheridge Foundation are aligned with my own experiences and philosophies so it became obvious that I wanted to help "do good" with some of my artistic talent.

It is with great honor and privilege that not only is Melissa making her Broadway debut, but so am I!  I am thrilled beyond words to be part of this event and Etheridge Nation.

We know that you’ll treasure this gorgeous, limited edition art – and we deeply appreciate your support of the Etheridge Foundation.

A heartfelt thank you, again, to the Etheridge Foundation patrons who made this project a reality.
